Hotel Iron Horse Amsterdam

During my recent stay at Iron Horse, the location in a vibrant part of town was perfect for exploring and enjoying the nightlife. The rooms were simple and clean, providing a calm atmosphere for relaxation. I also appreciated the free coffee at the reception desk and the reasonable price of the hotel.

There was one issue with the payment process that caused some inconvenience. When I arrived, I wanted to pay using my Monzo card instead of my Mastercard, but I was unexpectedly charged another holding fee on my Mastercard.

This hotel is a great value for money, especially considering its location within walking distance to everything in a quiet area. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms have all the basic amenities you need, including a nice coffee maker. I loved having a window in my room that overlooked the tables of the breakfast area, giving it a cozy atmosphere. The shower in my room was fantastic, providing a refreshing and invigorating experience. Plus, the double bed was comfortable and cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep. And to top it all off, breakfast was included, providing a satisfying start to the day.

Everything was just alright, nothing to complain about.

The room was clean and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. the location of the hotel was great, close to key attractions and transportation options. Plus, the bathroom was new and clean, which was a nice touch.

The basement location of the room was a major downside, as there were no windows to the street level. the smell coming from the breakfast room was quite off-putting, and having to walk through the breakfast room to access the room was inconvenient.

The hotel was very convenient to reach from the airport, just a short walk from the bus stop. The location was great, being very close to the museum area and within walking distance of the city center. The room was clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our luggage both before check-in and after check-out.

The hotel also offers a good breakfast option.

Some rooms had an issue with air conditioning, resulting in uncomfortably hot temperatures.

Conveniently located near attractions, cafes, and Vondel Park. Friendly staff, easy check-in/out. Clean, spacious twin rooms with en suites. Convenient amenities like bag storage and coffee at reception. Additional features like built-in chrome cast and small heater in the wardrobe.
